Meets Africa: Unique African sculptures, lost-wax
bronzes, authentic ceremonial masks, decorative furniture,
colonial trade beads, and other items are on exhibit.
These pieces come directly from villages in central and
western Africa and are evidence of the enormous influence
exerted by African art on the Modern Art movement of the
West.

Expressions:
Authentic antique furniture, elaborate wood and bronze
sculptures, hand-woven carpets, exquisite jade amulets,
and other cultural artifacts have been imported from the
Far East. Many of the styles exhibited are regarded as
the precursors to the Art Nouveau movement that began
in the late 19th century. .
